Hey everyone, Garens doing another post.
Today is the second part of this thing, that I am very interested in sharing with you. The main thing you have to understand is that the first two steps apply here too. You can find a design everywhere, that is the fantastic thing about the Internet. I have to apologise, as I don't have new pictures for this topic, but I will bombard you with random pictures of my 3 robos.
For reference I have built my Leopard (My main robo currently) with no other robos. This was a bit annoying, as you will understand. Let's get into it.
Step 1: Find a design.
You may find your favorite somewhere hidden in the huge Robocraft forums, or on the magical land of internetz. The main thing you have to take into consideration is that you have to get a design that your resources are enough for. You don't want to do the white block format here, you want to copy the design as functionally as possible. You may want to look at what blocks you have and how many of them, also your other hardware to put on it.
Step 2: Building a functional design
You may not have the resources required for the new design. And this guide assumes you don't have another robo. Now, you can either build half of the robo you want, or some parts of it, so that it at least can move and shoot, you can do that.
The main thing is DON'T DO A HALFASS JOB OF BUILDING! You don't want to be like me and lose your money halfway through armoring, and finish it with white blocks. This was back when I was tier 4 and believe me, it was like eating a sandpaper in the desert.
Step 3: If you are ready...
When you think you have a functioning robo, but you may want to do the whole thing, the only thing between you and your dreams is a little grind. Whenever you buy something new however you want to make sure it does not bring the robo to the brink of non-functioning. If you have 3 wheels for example on each side of your robo, and you buy 1 more wheel for reasons of wheel-buying, you want to keep that in your inventory, right until you have another one, for balance and other stuffs.
Step 4: Do the flop
I don't have any more annoyingly long things for you today. This was a short article, so I may just do another one today. I hope you found this helpful.
If you found my steps any helpful you may follow my blog, as I will do articles three times a week.
If you found that I forgot something important there is still a comments section under here.
Anyways, thanks for reading, and see ya later.
